Frozen Shoulder

Starts as an inflammatory lesion on the front and back of the shoulder, scarring, thickening and shrinkage of the capsule that surrounds the shoulder joint. 

There are 3 stages. 1) Abrupt loss of motion and pain that 
refers to the lateral brachial region. 2) Frozen stage – dull ache present at night or painful on movement. 3) Rotator cuff and scapula stabilisers may weaken.
