About Sandra Pegg

Who is Sandra Pegg?
I joined a gym. As I was doing the program which had been devised for me I happened to notice after a few weeks of doing it that my left knee began to become sore and that it would occur only on the days I attended the gym and followed the program. I noticed it became progressively worse the more I did the program. So after approximately two months with no improvement in the pain I decided that this really was not right and began to question it. I began to eliminate things one by one in the gym program and found doing a particular exercise (step ups) seemed to bring on the pain. I finally decided that I needed to see someone about it. I was finally directed to a myotherapist by one of the gym instructors after explaining what was happening. Once I was directed to the myotherapist they were able to explain to me that I was lucky as it had not progressed to the point of needing a knee reconstruction. The myotherapist then worked on loosening the tight muscles and once they had done that they worked on giving me exercises to develop the muscles that had been weak. This was done due to having my muscles out of balance. The best thing was that the myotherapist was able to find the cause and treat it to then assist me in being able to walk properly again without pain.
